Long ago a young (also surly, and often overalled) Joe Short decided that a remote corner of Northern Michigan was the best spot to begin his quest to liberate the land with liquid excellence.
Over two decades and many, many liberated tastebuds later, we’re ready for 21.
Party’s on: April 26, 2025
The last Saturday in April is kind of a BIG DEAL Up North. From 11am to 11pm we’ll be celebrating another year in Northern Michigan, slinging food and drinking beers. Heck, Huma, Local’s Light, Bellaire Brown, and Soft Parade are old enough to drink themselves!
Bring the fam for the day, or get to town early for the pre-party on Friday.
No tickets required, only good vibes. Need lodging? Bellaire has plenty to choose from, including the new Spillway Lodges.

The boys in the brewhouse are cranking out some extra special selections, including some new 10 year staff beers and Hard Ciders.
We’ll have multiple bars at the Pub and in the Beer Garden across the street.
The Pub will be featuring throw-back food items from all our years of Ween-loving weirdness.
Bands!
We’ve got more bands than you can count on two hands. Once we finalize the schedule we’ll post it here but you can expect tunes from the Little Dippers, Delilah Dewylde, One Hot Robot, Braxton Hicks & the Contractions, and more!
