Hailing from Clarkston, Michigan, this four-piece band brings the grit, grind, and determination of the Rustbelt to every stage. With Bill Arnold and Anthony Zack on guitars and vocals, Chris Brown on bass, and Jon Johnson on drums, The Trolley rolls through the lines of folk, rock, country, blues, and bluegrass—melding these genres into something both familiar and refreshingly unique.

Their sound is like your favorite pair of jeans: comfortable and worn-in, yet always leaving you with something new to discover. They’re the musical embodiment of Midwest craftsmanship, delivering powerful rhythms, lush guitars, and riveting harmonies that resonate with hardworking folks everywhere.

Whether playing solo, duo, trio, or as a full band, One Ton Trolley’s “small footprint, big sound” has electrified stages of all sizes. Their debut EP, No Simple Highways (released March 2022), and their full-length LP, Sunday Morning Cigarettes (released February 2023), were both recorded at the legendary Tempermill in Ferndale, Michigan, with engineer and co-producer Jake Shives.
